Car A.C. SERVICE
Your vehicle’s A/C system is important any time of the year. Mostly from us think that the A/C is strictly for cooling air in the summer. In fact, it is almost more important to use it during the cold and rainy seasons. Low cooling, odor, and a malfunctioning compressor are just a few of the problems that can arise. Although frequent AC maintenance should be a habit, it is typically recommended that a full car AC service be performed once a year to ensure maximum cooling efficiency.
AC system service checks for the following:
Visual Inspection of all components
Replacement of AC Filter
Function and Performance test
Leak test
AC Gas replacement
If needed, disinfection of AC System
Reasons your car’s AC might not be working properly
THERE IS A REFRIGERANT LEAK IN YOUR CAR
THE FANS IN YOUR COOLING UNIT ARE BROKEN
THE COMPRESSOR IS OUT OF ORDER
THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH YOUR CONDENSER
AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM
BELT DAMAGED
A vehicle’s A/C system consists of five major parts, all working together to cool you off in summer, and to keep you dry and warm in winter. These major parts are:
Compressor
Condenser
Receiver dryer
Expansion valve
Cooling coil
Ac blower unit
Car A/C system also consists of hoses and refrigerant charging ports
Components of a car AC?
Compressor
The compressor acts as a pump, pressurizing the refrigerant before it is transferred to the evaporator.
Refrigerant(a c gas)
The refrigerant is a liquid that is housed within the coils of a car air conditioning system and is responsible for the entire cooling process. R134-a, is the most common refrigerant used in car air conditioning.
Condenser
A condenser is a important part , converting the refrigerant from gas to liquid and cooling it.
Evaporator
A condenser is the polar opposite of an evaporator. It restores the gaseous condition of the liquid refrigerant. It distributes the heat while also cooling it down further. The evaporator is housed within the vehicle. It’s usually hidden under the dashboard by the manufacturers.
Valve of Expansion
The evaporator and the expansion valve function together. It regulates the pressure of the AC refrigerant as it circulates through the system.
Key benefits of AC service
Efficient cool air in summer and in winter it provides warm dehumidified air. AC Filter which keeps the air in your car clean. Provide a pleasant and odor free environment at all times.
